Forms2Java Customization
Forms2Java is available as-is, with default code generation options. ATX recognizes that in a number of situations, there are specific requirements which must be fulfilled for the success of the project. Many requirements can be implemented at the migration stage, i.e. within Forms2Java, and others at the Framework level.
ATX offers a customization service in which we design, implement, test and release a custom version of Forms2Java for a specific customer. Those customizations vary, but can include:
- Support for a different UI technology, e.g. JSF or ADF Faces;
- Code structure reconfiguration, to support other RAD tools, e.g. ICEFaces;
- Workflow and auditing capabilities (framework level);
- Support for frequently-recurring unsupported built-in functions;
- Modification of naming policy conventions;
- Test skeletons generation.
